Fort Beauregard Veteran’s Memorial Park

Fort Beauregard, located half a mile north of the village of Harrisonburg, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, was one of four Confederate forts guarding the Ouachita River during the American Civil War. In 1863, four Union gunboats attacked it, unsuccessfully.

Service League

Meetings are held each month at 6:00 pm in the old Beasley building at 208 Sicily Street in Harrisonburg.

The Village of Harrisonburg Service League is dedicated to improving, supporting and enhancing the lives of our citizens through out this community. We do this by organizing and hosting fund raisers, community events, educational efforts and general service projects.
