Equipment Purchase
A resolution authorizing the mayor of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana to request a grant to purchase equipment for the maintenance department.
SECTION 1: BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that the Mayor of the Village of Harrisonburg is hereby authorized to request a grant to make the purchase of equipment for the maintenance department.
SECTION 2: BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Mayor of the Village of Harrisonburg be authorized to complete any and all transactions needed to complete the request for the 2020-2021 Local Government Assistance Program Grant.
SECTION 3: BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this resolution shall become effective upon signature by the Mayor.
This resolution having been submitted to a vote; the vote thereon was as follows:

Council Member Judy Cotten Yea
Council Member Arthurine Watson Absent
And the resolution was declared adopted on this, the 11th day of January, 2021.
