The Mayor and Town Council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in Regular Session on March 09th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.
Council Members Present: Mayor: Michael Tubre, Aldermen: Greg Terry, and Arthurine Watson Absent: Judy Cotton. Also Present: Town Clerk: Patricia Hefner, Town Attorney Joey Boothe, Betty Gauthier, with the Harrisonburg Service League.
There being a quorum present, the Mayor called the meeting to order.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved February Meeting Minutes.
On a motion by Council Member Watson, seconded by Council Member Terry, with all in favor, the Council approved February Special Meeting Minutes.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved the February Account Transfers and Disbursements.
On a motion by Terry, seconded by Cotten, with all in favor, the Council adopted the Harrisonburg Vision and Action Plan Book as a guide in research and developing future plans for the revitalization and enhancement of our village.
On a motion by Cotten, seconded by Watson, with all in favor, the Council adopted a resolution proclaiming April 13-18, 2020 as National Community Development Week.
On a motion by Terry, seconded by Cotten, with all in favor, the Council adopted a resolution in support of signage up to $1100.00 on the dedication of Colonial Vinvent.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Cotten, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
