20200608 Town Meeting

The Mayor and Town Council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in Regular Session on Monday, June 8th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.

Council Members Present: Mayor: Michael Tubre, Aldermen: Judy Cotton, Arthuring Watson Also Present: Town Clerk: Patricia Hefner, Town Attorney: Joey Boothe

There being a quorum present, the Mayor called the meeting to order.

On a motion by Council Member Cotton, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved May Meeting Minutes as published.

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Terry, with all in favor, the Council approved the May Account Transfers and Disbursements.

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to amend the General Fund Budget FYE 2020. Revenues and Transfers: 323,000 Expenditures: 313,00

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council adopted the General Fund Budget FY July 2020 to June 2021. Revenues and Transfers: 319,000 Expenditures: 304,000.

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt the LCDBG Management Resolution 20200608C, to establish financial duties and compliance monitoring responsibilities.  

On a motion by Council Member Watson, seconded by Council Member Cotten, with all in favor, the Council voted to Adopt Resolution 20200608A. A Grievance Procedure, to comply with section 504.

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt. Resolution 20200608D. A policy for communicating information to persons with sensory impairments.

On a motion by Council Member Watson, seconded by Council Member Cotten, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt. Resolution 20200608B. A language access plan

On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
