Also, Present: Town Clerk: Patricia Hefner. With no further comments on a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Watson the public hearing was closed.
20190812 REGULAR MEETING
The Mayor and Town Council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in Regular Session on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 6:10 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.
There being a quorum present, the Mayor called the regular meeting to order. Council Members Present: Mayor: Michael Tubre, Aldermen: Greg Terry, Judy Cotten, Arthurine Watson
Also, Present: Town Clerk: Patricia Hefner.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved July Meeting Minutes as published.
On a motion by Council Member Watson, seconded by Council Member Terry, with all in favor, the Council approved the July Account Transfers and Disbursements.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Cotten, with all in favor, the Council adopted Ordinance #20190708 Sewer Rates and Fees.
On a motion by Council Member Watson, seconded by Council Member Terry, with all in favor, the Council voted to authorize the mayor to pay off water bond note and to move any remaining funds to the water revenue continued fund.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to authorize the mayor to close out dormant banking accounts and to move remaining funds to relevant accounts.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
