Council Meeting

MINUTES
Mayor Michael Tubre and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday, April 08, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
Council Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Judy Cotten. Also present: Superintendent Billy Franklin.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Tubre called the meeting to order, gave the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion was made by Councilmember Cotten and seconded by Councilmember Terry, to accept the March meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Cotten, to accept the March 2024 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Cotten, seconded by Councilmember Terry, to adopt a Fair Housing Proclamation. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Tubre opened the floor for public comment:
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Cotten, and seconded by Council Member Terry at 7:27 p.m. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
