Council Meeting
February 12, 2024 – 6:00 P.M.
MINUTES
Mayor Michael Tubre and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
Council Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Blake Barbo.
And Councilmember Judy Cotten.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Tubre called the meeting to order, gave the invocation, and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry and seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the December meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Cotten, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the December 2023 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Barbo, seconded by Councilmember Terry, to accept the January 2024 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Tubre opened the floor for public comment:
Announcement: The Harrisonburg Heritage Festival event will be held on April 27th 2024.
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Terry, and seconded by Council Member Barbo at 7:29 p.m. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
