The Mayor and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday, December 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
ROLL CALL / COUNCIL PRESENT
Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Judy Cotton, Absent: Councilmember Barbo
There being a quorum present, Mayor Michael Tubre called the meeting to order. Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry gave the invocation, and Mayor Michael Tubre led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Councilmember Judy Cotten and seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry to approve the December 2025 meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. There being none, the motion was put to a vote.
Motion carried unanimously.
FINANCIAL REPORTS
A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry and seconded by Councilmember Judy Cotten to accept the December 2025 financial reports, including transfers, disbursements, and the budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. There being none, the motion was put to a vote.
Motion carried unanimously.
AMENDMENT TO AGENDA
A motion was made by Councilmember Judy Cotten and seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry to amend the agenda by adding the Appointment of the Recreation District Committee. Motion carried unanimously.
APPOINTMENT – RECREATION DISTRICT COMMITTEE
A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry and seconded by Councilmember Judy Cotten to appoint a Recreation District Committee. The following individuals were appointed to serve: Ty White, Randy White, Robert Bradley, Luke Pentecost, Jacob Roark, Amie Bruit, Sydni Crawford. The motion was put to a vote. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Michael Tubre opened the floor for public comment. There being none, public comment was closed.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Councilmember Judy Cotten and seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry at 7:09 p.m. The motion was put to a vote. Motion carried unanimously.
