20230424 HARRISONBURG SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The mayor and town council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in special session on Monday, April 24th, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.
Council Members Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Council members: Greg Terry, Blake Barbo and Judy Cotten. There being a quorum present, the mayor called the special meeting to order.
Council member Barbo recused himself from the conversation and vote of Resolution 20230424 Awarding Splashpad Contract, due to a possible conflict of interest.
Mayor Tubre announced Engineers (Bryant Hammett & Associates, LLC) recommended the award of the Steamboat Park Splash Pad Project be awarded to Womack & Son’s Construction Group, with the lower bid price of $270,650.00.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Cotten, the Council adopted the Resolution 20230424 Awarding Splashpad Contract to Womack and Son’s Construction Group, Inc.
On a motion by Council Member Cotton, seconded by Council Member Terry, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
