The Mayor and Town Council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in Regular Session on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.
Council Members Present: Mayor: Michael Tubre, Aldermen: Greg Terry, Judy Cotten, Arthurine Watson
There being a quorum present, the mayor called the meeting to order.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved February meeting minutes.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Cotten, with all in favor, the Council approved February Account Transfers, Disbursements and Budget Reports.
On a motion by Council Member Terry, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt Resolution 20220314, making application to the state bond commission for authority to issue taxable water revenue bonds of the Village of Harrisonburg, not to exceed three million dollars.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt Resolution 20220314A approving the appointment of a director and an alternate director to represent the Village of Harrisonburg on the board or directors of the Louisiana Municipal Natural Gas Purchasing and Distribution authority.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to adopt Resolution 20220314B Declaring Surplus items for Public Auction.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
