Mayor Michael Tubre and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday, December 11th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
Council Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Blake Barbo.
Absent: Councilmember Judy Cotten.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Tubre called the meeting to order.
Mayor Pro-Tem, Greg Terry gave the invocation.
Mayor Tubre led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Tubre opened the floor to David Vercher to allow a presentation of the Village of Harrisonburg June 2023 year end audit.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry and seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the November meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the November 2023 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to adopt Resolution 20231211 Fire Department Equipment. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Tubre opened the floor for public comment:
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Barbo, and seconded by Council Member Terry at 7:21 p.m. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
