Council Meeting

MINUTES
Mayor Michael Tubre and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
Council Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Blake Barbo.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Tubre called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Council member Blake Barbo gave the invocation.
A motion was made by Councilmember Barbo and seconded by Councilmember Terry, to accept the February meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the February 2023 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Tubre opened the floor for public comment:
Announcement: The Harrisonburg Heritage Festival event was on schedule for April 27th 2024. There are plans for live entertainment, vendors, a petting zoo and many other activities.
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Barbo, and seconded by Council Member Terry at 7:20 p.m. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
