VILLAGE OF HARRISONBURG
REGULAR TOWN MEETING 20241111
Mayor Michael Tubre and Council of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, met in regular session on Monday November 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
Council Present: Mayor Michael Tubre, Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry, Councilmember Blake Barbo and Judy Cotten. Also present: Town Attorney Joseph Boothe, Town Clerk Patricia Hefner
There being a quorum present, Mayor Tubre called the meeting to order.
A motion was made by Councilmember Barbo and seconded by Councilmember Cotten, to accept the September meeting minutes as published. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the September 2024 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Cotten, seconded by Councilmember Barbo, to accept the October 2024 financial reports: transfers, disbursements and budget report. The floor was opened for public comment. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Councilmember Barbo, seconded by Councilmember Cotten to use the remaining ARP Funding for Water and Sewer Supplies Storage Building and Remaining funds needed to complete water grant project.
A motion was made by Councilmember Terry, seconded by Councilmember Cotten to Amend Resolution 20240909 Road Repairs on 20241111 Road Repairs .
Mayor Tubre opened the floor for public comment:
There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Terry, and seconded by Council Member Barbo at 6:34 p.m. On vote, the motion carried unanimously.
