Harrisonburg closes village hall to public

In an effort to keep our community and employees safe. The village hall, at 108 Sicily Street, and its Parks and Recreation areas will be closed to the public until further notice, effective Monday, March 23rd, 2020.

HARRISONBURG — Officials have decided to close the village hall’s doors to the public amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

Mayor Michael Tubre made this decision to follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and to protect our community in the increasing spread of the COVID-19 across the state.

Essential staff will still be working, The town’s police, fire rescue, gas and water utility services will continue uninterrupted and that utility bills can still be paid online, by mail or at a drop-off box outside the village hall.

Residents can call by phone 318-744-5794 or make an appointment to meet at the village hall. The village clerk will be taking calls during business hours. For after hour utility emergencies call the Sheriff’s department 318-744-5411. We are committed to doing everything we can to maintain your health, safety and welfare.
