The Mayor Pro-Tem and Town Council of the Village of Harrisonburg met in Regular Session on Monday, October 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall.
Council Members Present: Mayor Pro-Tem Greg Terry: Aldermen: Judy Cotten, Arthurine Watson
Also Present: Town Clerk: Patricia Hefner and Town Attorney: Joey Boothe
There being a quorum present, the Mayor Pro-Tem called the meeting to order.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved the September meeting minutes as published.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved the September Account Transfers and Disbursements.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council voted to award and authorize the Mayor to execute the Professional Services Contract for the Phase 1 Cultural Resources Survey of the LCDBG Harrisonburg-Enterprise Consolidation project to Surveys Unlimited Research Associates, Inc. in the amount of $11,304.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council approved the mission statement for the vision and action plan book.
On a motion by Council Member Cotten, seconded by Council Member Watson, with all in favor, the Council adjourned the meeting.
