VILLAGE OF HARRISONBURG
NOTICE OF INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at the regular meeting of the Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, on Monday, November 14th, 2022, the following Ordinance was introduced, read in full, and laid over for publication by title:
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INCURRANCE OF DEBT AND ISSUANCE OF TAXABLE WATER REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2023, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($440,000).
The proceeds of which will be used to pay a portion of the costs of constructing and acquiring improvements, extensions, renovations and replacements to the waterworks system, a work of public improvement. The principal of the Bonds shall be subject to forgiveness.
That said Ordinance, complete in the form in which it is to be finally adopted, is on file with the Town Clerk of the Council for public inspection and that the said Ordinance is to be taken up for final adoption, after a PUBLIC HEARING is held by the Town Councilon MONDAY, JANUARY 9TH, 2023 at 6:00 o’clock p.m. at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.
